Magibu was born from a simple yet powerful idea – to
make everyday life easier for modern parents through thoughtful products that combine functionality,
aesthetics, and quality.
As a first-time mother, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find an activity gym that was not only
practical and portable but also beautiful enough to blend naturally into our home. Most options on the
market were bulky, complicated to assemble, and required screws or tools every time they were used. I wanted
something different – a product that could follow us everywhere, from the living room to the holiday
cottage, while maintaining a clean, Scandinavian look.
Together with my father – a mechanical engineer with decades of experience in design and construction – I
began developing what would later become Magibu. Our goal was to merge two worlds: engineering precision and
parental intuition. The result is a robust, safe, and elegant activity gym that can be assembled or
disassembled in seconds – without any screws or tools.

Each wooden pole features magnetic ends that snap securely into the connectors, allowing the gym to be

When playtime is over, the gym can be easily folded and stored away – perfect for creating a calmer space in

quickly baby gear can take over a home, and Magibu was designed as a solution that’s easy to bring out, use,
and pack away again.
To make assembly even simpler, Magibu uses a color-coded guide. If one wooden pole has a yellow ring, it
simply connects to the green joint – and you’re done. The system ensures an effortless and correct assembly
every time, reflecting our philosophy that good design should be as intuitive as it is beautiful.
Materials and construction – made to last
At Magibu, we never compromise on materials. All connecting points are made from PETG, a strong,
impact-resistant, and highly stable material often used in technical components and medical equipment.
Unlike conventional plastic, PETG is more durable under pressure and free from harmful substances – making
it both safe, resilient, and environmentally sound.
The rest of the frame is crafted from untreated pine, which provides natural strength and a warm, timeless
appearance. The wood adds an organic calmness to the design, turning Magibu from a simple piece of baby
equipment into a natural part of your home décor. Each gym carries its own character through the natural
grain and color of the wood, and all surfaces are finished with child-safe, water-based coatings where
necessary to ensure safety and durability.
